Momentum is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professional II to join our team. As a DSP II, you will play a vital role in supporting adults with disabilities to live independently and achieve their goals.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individualized coaching in daily living skills, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household management.
- Assist with daily needs and tasks, ensuring a safe and secure living environment.
- Support individuals in accessing community resources, including transportation and social activities.
- Maintain accurate records of individual progress and communicate effectively with team members.
- Assist with medication management, adaptive living skills, and personal care, including hygiene and medical appointments.
- Teach and promote independent living skills, such as budgeting, time management, and household maintenance.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum one year of experience working with people with disabilities preferred.
- Valid California driver's license, liability insurance, and reliable transportation required.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Pass post-offer, pre-employment screening requirements, including criminal background check and drug screening.
