We are seeking a Technical Lead for our Applied Machine Learning team to implement and productionize cutting-edge research across our core product pillars.
As a Technical Lead, you will help set the technical direction for one of our teams and work closely with customers to identify additional areas across the product suite where generative AI can provide significant value.
You will mentor engineers on the team and throughout the entire company on building strong ML foundations and work closely with customers to identify additional areas across the product suite where generative AI can provide significant value.
Key Responsibilities:

- Work closely with customers to identify additional areas across the product suite where generative AI can provide significant value
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, physics, robotics, or related fields from a top institution
- 4+ years experience working with modern ML techniques including but not limited to transformer-based models, reconstruction algorithms, diffusion and multi-modal models
- Programming experience in one of the following: Python or C++
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working directly with end users
- Peer-reviewed research at machine learning conferences like NeurIPS, CVPR, ICML, ICLR, ICCV/ECCV, IROS, ICRA
- Experience building software for technical end users
Compensation at Applied Intuition for eligible roles includes base salary, equity, and benefits. Base salary is a single component of the total compensation package, which may also include equity in the form of options and/or restricted stock units, comprehensive health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance coverage, 401k retirement benefits with employer match, learning and wellness stipends, and paid time off.
Please note that benefits are subject to change and may vary based on jurisdiction of employment.
Applied Intuition pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum intended target base salary for new hire salaries for the position.
The actual base salary offered to a successful candidate will additionally be influenced by a variety of factors including experience, credentials & certifications, educational attainment, skill level requirements, interview performance, and the level and scope of the position.
For pay transparency purposes, the base salary range for this full-time position in the location listed is: $204,000 - $343,000 USD annually.
