Intercare Recruitment is seeking a qualified Emergency Medicine physician for a locum tenens opportunity. This role involves providing essential medical services in a hospital setting, ensuring high-quality care for patients in need.
Key Details:
- Location: Southern Illinois
- Schedule: Flexible shifts available, including 12 or 24-hour options, with a commitment of 5-7 shifts per month.
- Call Requirements: No call shifts required.
- Annual Patient Volume: Approximately 11,000 visits.
- Electronic Medical Records: Utilization of Medhost system.
- Qualifications: Candidates must be board-certified in Emergency Medicine (ABEM) and possess an active Illinois medical license.
- Certifications: ACLS and PALS certifications are preferred, ideally through the American Heart Association.
- Facility Information: The hospital features a total of 47 beds, including a dedicated 10-bed Emergency Department.
- Provider Coverage: Two providers will be on duty simultaneously during shifts.
