About the Position

  • Manage all aspects of pre-trial and trial proceedings, ensuring seamless case management and effective communication with case managers, paralegals, and Associate Attorneys.
  • Monitor case progress by maintaining a weekly personal calendar and facilitating regular communication with team members.
  • Actively participate in weekly round table and calendar meetings to ensure alignment and progress.
  • Update docket clerks on any modifications to case calendars via consistent communication.
  • Demonstrate effective supervision of staff while fostering collaboration with fellow attorneys to successfully fulfill assignments.
  • Ensure precise adherence to client-specific guidelines for all tasks.
  • Maintain flexibility and willingness to offer assistance beyond the scope of this job description, as well as perform other duties as directed by the Managing Partner.
  • Assume a leadership role in critical cases involving key clients.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Defense Attorney who possesses the following qualifications:

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, coupled with the ability to manage multiple tasks within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Active California State law license.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to tactfully communicate with a diverse array of attorneys, staff members, and clients.
  • Successful litigation experience, insurance defense is a plus.
