Radiation Technologist

Fusion Medical Staffing-Radiology is seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist for a travel assignment in Des Moines, Iowa.

As a Computed Tomography Technologist, you will be responsible for operating computed tomography scanners to produce high-quality images of the body's internal structures. You will work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.

• Operate computed tomography scanners to produce high-quality images of the body's internal structures.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
• Prepare patients for computed tomography scans, including explaining the procedure and positioning them correctly.
• Monitor patients' responses to interventions and report outcomes to healthcare professionals.
• Administer medications as ordered with appropriate documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• One to three years of experience as a Radiation Technologist preferred.
• Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and use a computer.
• Physical abilities to remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment, push, pull, bend, and lift.
