Job Overview

We are seeking an exceptional Pediatric Hospitalist to join our practice at Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Childrens Hospital. This in-house position offers a diverse clinical experience caring for a wide range of pediatric inpatients and well newborns.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with our experienced team, providing comprehensive inpatient care across non-teaching and teaching services. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing comprehensive inpatient care for pediatric patients, including newborns (excluding delivery room duties)
  • Participating in hospital administration, quality improvement, practice management, research, and community outreach
  • On-site coverage during days and evenings, with home calls from midnight to 7 am

About the Hospital:

  • A 185-bed tertiary-care children's hospital in Orlando, FL
  • Primary teaching site for Orlando Health Pediatric Residency Program
  • Central Florida's only Pediatric Level 1 Trauma Center
  • Fully integrated electronic medical record system (Epic)

Qualifications:

  • Education: M.D., D.O.
  • Completion of an ACGME or AOA Pediatric Residency
  • Board Certified or Board-Eligible by the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP) in Pediatric Hospital Medicine
  • Unrestricted FL Medical License (or the ability to obtain one) and DEA
