Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $140,000 - $170,000 per year, depending on experience, plus medical malpractice insurance, a collegiate environment dedicated to practitioner growth, and new graduates or those new to emergency medicine will be placed into APEP:EM, a structured educational postgraduate transition to top of license practice program for Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).

Job Description

As an experienced physician assistant or nurse practitioner, you will join our dynamic Emergency Medicine Department APEP program, providing consistent, evidence-based, and structured education on specialty-specific patient presentations.

You will rotate through four central PA hospital emergency departments, including Harrisburg Hospital, Community General Hospital, West Shore Hospital, and Carlisle Hospital, working alongside a strong, experienced APP team and utilizing the EPIC EMR system-wide.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  • A graduate degree from an approved physician assistant / nurse practitioner program
  • ACLS and PALS certifications
  • A commitment to teamwork, providing high-quality, compassionate care, and delivering exceptional clinical outcomes
