Job Title: Behavioral Health Technician

Soar Autism Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavioral Health Technician to join our team. As a key member of our interdisciplinary clinic, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to children with autism and their families.

About the Role:
  • Provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children aged 2-6, adhering to the principles of Applied Behavioral Analysis therapy.
  • Implement intervention plans crafted by our expert BCBAs, ensuring alignment with ABA therapy principles.
  • Foster relationships with families, consistently updating them on their child's progress within the ABA framework.
  • Engage in ongoing training and development, keeping up-to-date with advancements in ABA therapy and RBT certification.
Requirements:
  • Strong preference for either enrollment in or completion of a degree program. Bonus for degrees in Child Development, Psychology, or related fields.
  • Ability to achieve and maintain RBT certification (Soar will provide paid training).
  • Previous experience with children and enjoyment working with children.
  • Ability to work on a team.
  • Must have reliable transportation to both training location and local center. Punctuality is essential.
  • Must be able to meet the following physical requirements: sit and stand frequently, shift positions quickly, lift up to 50 lbs., sit/kneel on the floor for extended periods of time, sit in a chair, stand, walk, and occasionally run short distances to catch up with a client.

  • $20.50 - $26.00/hour with regular bonus and promotion opportunities. All staff members are considered every 3 months for a raise or promotion.
