Job Summary

Olivet Nazarene University Department of Nursing is seeking a qualified adjunct nursing faculty member to provide clinical instruction in the undergraduate nursing program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with skill demonstrations at the beginning of the semester.
  • Supervise students in clinical settings.
  • Evaluate student performance through weekly assignments and daily evaluations.
  • Meet with students to provide final evaluations and feedback.
  • Maintain open communication with level coordinators and didactic professors.
Requirements
  • A lifestyle in alignment with the ONU Statement of Mission, Faith, and Lifestyle Covenant.
  • At least five years of experience in the nursing field.
  • Strong work ethic and excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to maintain confidentiality.
Education and Certification
  • A Master's degree in Nursing is required.
  • Current health requirements include CPR certification, TB skin test, drug screen, MMR, Varicella, flu vaccine, and COVID vaccines.
Work Environment
  • Travel required to clinical sites.
  • Primary interaction with level coordinators.
  • Reports to the director of pre-licensure programs and the director of nursing programs.
