Welder/Fabricator - Metal Fabrication Specialist

Brazecom Industries is seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for performing daily production tasks that include MIG/TIG welding and fabrication of critical components in the commercial, medical, and microwave industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• MIG/TIG welding of small assemblies, including aluminum, stainless, and carbon steels.
• Validate print/drawing stack up on all assemblies.
• Grinding, drilling, sanding, machining, polishing.
• Use of proper PPE.
• Maintain part identification and integrity throughout the production processes.
• Complete training and retraining as required.
• Complete and keep all Job Travelers organized and up to date.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Routinely clean shop as required or directed.
• Suggest changes or improvement in processes or procedures.
• Mentor other employees with less experience.
• Ensure that due dates are met.
• Cleaning and maintaining equipment and tools essential to welding.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Manufacturing experience.
• People skills.

Working Conditions:

This job mainly operates on the manufacturing floor. At times, there may be a need to travel to customers or vendors in either company vehicle or POV. Must be able to work closely with other employees in the shop area. Temperatures may vary from cold to hot and humid, inside, or outside. The use of proper PPE is required.
