About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Engineer to join our team at GlaxoSmithKline. As a Facilities Engineer, you will be responsible for providing ongoing engineering support to our R&D Engineering Services Operations, focusing on facilities services and capital projects program management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and improve processes that support the operational delivery model and interfaces with other GSK functions, service partners, and 3rd party providers.
  • Support the consistent delivery of facilities, engineering services, and compliance through provision of engineering and project management skills.
  • Manage regional compliance to external licensing and statutory requirements for engineering services provided by R&D Engineering Services.
  • Lead investigations and mitigation plans at the site for significant service failures, critical/major audit findings, dispute resolution, and process improvements.
  • Champion implementation of engineering standards and process improvement initiatives from WREF service towers into site delivery teams.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or science-related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in engineering at a manufacturing or research facility.
  • Experience with facilities engineering and operations/maintenance of facilities infrastructure (boilers, chillers, HVAC, cooling towers).
