Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pediatric Intensive Care Nurse to join our team at Dignity Health-St. Rose Dominican. As a member of our pediatric ICU team, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to critically ill children and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to pediatric patients in the ICU, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Monitor and manage the patient's condition, including vital signs, lab results, and medication administration.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Qualifications
  • One year of acute pediatric intensive care experience or successful completion of applicable clinical and didactic SRDH specialty training course(s) or program.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • RN - Current license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Nevada.
  • CT CPRBLS = CT American Heart Association Basic Life Support - Nat'l
  • CT CPRACLS = CT American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support - Nat'l
  • CT CPRPALS = CT American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support – Nat'l
Preferred Qualifications
  • Two years of PICU acute care experience.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
  • CT ONS – Oncology Nursing Certification.
Compensation

$72.47 - $74.72 /hour
