Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Civil Litigation Attorney to join our dynamic legal team at Poole Huffman, LLC in Tucker, GA. As a key member of our high-stakes litigation team, you will be responsible for handling a diverse caseload of civil litigation matters, including contract disputes, property disputes, and professional liability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Case Management: Manage a diverse caseload of civil litigation matters, including but not limited to contract disputes, property disputes, and professional liability.
  • Legal Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies and ensure compliance with current laws and regulations.
  • Courtroom Representation: Represent clients in court hearings, trials, mediations, and arbitrations. Present compelling arguments, examine witnesses, and negotiate settlements.
  • Drafting Legal Documents: Prepare and draft legal documents such as complaints, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and responses.
  • Client Consultation: Advise clients on their legal rights and obligations and provide strategic guidance to achieve the best possible outcomes.
  • Warrant Applications: Utilize your expertise in civilian warrant applications to provide insight and guidance on relevant matters.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure comprehensive legal representation and client satisfaction.
  • Continuing Education: Stay current with developments in civil litigation, criminal law, and warrant applications through ongoing professional development and training.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Civil Litigation Experience: Experience in handling civil litigation matters.
  • Trial Experience: Proven track record of success in trial settings.
  • Client Relations: Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
