Key Responsibilities- Architecture Design: Develop creative and practical architectural designs for K-12 educational facilities, including floor plans, elevations, and 3D models that meet the specific needs and requirements of each project.
- Project Management: Oversee the entire architectural process, from concept development to construction administration, coordinating with clients, engineers, and contractors to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
- AutoCAD and Revit: Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is essential for this role, requiring the ability to create accurate and detailed architectural drawings and models.
- Collaboration: Work closely with a team of architects, engineers, and designers to develop comprehensive design solutions, participating in design charrettes, brainstorming sessions, and client meetings to ensure that all perspectives are considered and integrated into the final design.
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture: A Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or a related field is required, with a Master's Degree preferred but not required.
- 5+ years of experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience working as an architect, with a focus on K-12 educational facilities, is required, with a proven track record of successfully completing projects on time and within budget.
- CAD Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is essential for this role, requiring the ability to create accurate and detailed architectural drawings and models.
- Strong Design Portfolio: A strong design portfolio that demonstrates the ability to develop innovative and functional architectural designs for K-12 educational facilities is required.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are required, with the ability to effectively communicate design ideas and concepts to clients, team members, and other stakeholders.
- Leadership Abilities: Strong leadership abilities and the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team are required, with the ability to provide guidance and mentorship to junior architects and designers.
