Job Title: Diesel Truck Mechanic

ConGlobal is seeking an experienced Diesel Truck Mechanic to join our team in Atlanta, GA.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Diesel Truck Mechanic to repair and maintain our fleet of Semi Tractor/Trailers at the Railyard. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in Tractor Semi/Trailer repair and maintenance, knowledge of diesel engine systems, and the ability to perform routine maintenance inspections.

Responsibilities:
  • Identify and repair problems with mechanical, hydraulic, diesel, and electrical systems
  • Read and understand hydraulic and electrical schematics
  • Troubleshoot and repair diesel engines (Cat, Cummins, Detroit)
  • Perform maintenance and mechanical repairs on Hostlers and Forklifts
  • Maintain routine maintenance schedules on all Tractor Semi/Trailers

Qualifications:
  • 1-3 years of Tractor Semi/Trailer repair and maintenance experience
  • Knowledge of diesel engine systems, including fuel, electrical, cooling, and exhaust systems
  • Able to perform maintenance inspections, including tune-ups, oil changes, and other key services
  • Able to inspect mileage, belts, flushing fluids, and gasket replacements
  • Hydraulic and electrical maintenance experience required
  • Able to lift 50lbs
  • Open availability required (all shifts and holidays)
  • Willingness to work in varying weather conditions
  • Owning tools preferred but not required
  • Valid driver's license
