1. Comply with safety protocols, adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), maintain cleanliness, and ensure product quality is upheld. Report any unsafe conditions or practices to management promptly.2. Engage in daily team meetings and shift transitions.3. Collect samples during production and after completion for both analytical and microbiological assessments.4.
Verification Tasks:
Check package coding, product weights, packaging integrity, labeling, temperature, sensory characteristics, etc., to ensure compliance with specifications and regulations.5. Assist in the creation, revision, and upkeep of standard operating procedures for the facility.6.
Serve as a communication link between Production, Distribution, Sanitation, Maintenance, and Quality Departments, addressing quality concerns and aiding in corrective actions as needed.7.
Participate in food safety and quality inspections, in-process evaluations, mock recalls, label audits, and HACCP audits.8.Analytical Testing Duties:
Conduct tests for Solids Content, pH, Vitamin C, Viscosity, Organoleptic properties, Hydrogen Peroxide Residual, and Packaging Integrity.9.
Ensure proper setup of production lines at the beginning of shifts: Printer setup (coding), packaging materials, labeling, quality limits, etc.
Confirm that code date information is accurate and communicated to the production team.10.Inspect the cleanliness of production lines before startup through visual and mechanical checks, performing ATP (adenosine triphosphate) tests and APC (Aerobic Plate Count) tests to verify the absence of microbiological organisms.
11. Conduct pH analysis of samples during root cause investigations.12. Utilize inventory control software to prevent non-conforming products from entering the market.13.Assist in investigations related to customer feedback or quality deviations to identify root causes and implement corrective measures.
14. Help manage quality hold processes, including non-conforming product inventories.15. Ensure that laboratory equipment, refrigerators, and thermometers are properly maintained and calibrated.16. Lead and coordinate the collection and processing of incubation samples for investigations.17. Maintain and adhere to micro sample and shelf-life study protocols.18. Provide training on packaging integrity to the operations team. Exhibit a willingness to learn and develop.19.Team Collaboration:

Qualifications:
EDUCATION:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

- Basic computer knowledge and skills are preferred.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
- One-year certificate from a college or technical school or equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience. 1+ years of experience in food manufacturing or quality assurance is preferred.
- Familiarity with food manufacturing processes and GMPs.
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals. Effective communication skills with fellow employees.
- Strong mathematical skills.
- Ability to apply common sense to follow oral instructions and solve problems in standardized situations.
