Job Title: Per Diem Nurse

North Mississippi Health Services is seeking a skilled Per Diem Nurse to join our team. As a Per Diem Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide safe, quality patient care using the nursing process.
  • Work to ensure compliance with all NMHS policies and requirements.
  • Provide patient and family education, and act as a resource for existing staff and new employees.
  • Maintain communication with multidisciplinary team members to provide holistic care to the patient.
  • Project a caring, friendly, and helpful image to patients and other customers.
  • Maintain competency by staying informed of changing trends in the nursing practice.
  • Comply with regulatory and accrediting agency requirements.
Requirements:
  • Licensed by the board of Nursing for the state.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the healthcare team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
