Job Overview

EAM-Mosca Corporation, a leading provider of end-of-line automated packaging machinery and consumable strapping solutions, is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to support our advanced strapping systems in the Columbus, OH region.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electromechanical maintenance, with experience working on complex machinery and equipment. This role requires excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, commission, and maintain equipment to ensure reliability and high customer satisfaction.
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance, emergency repairs, and predictive maintenance on all EAM equipment.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems using systematic thinking and test equipment.
  • Collaborate with Mosca Engineering to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Generate detailed service reports explaining work performed, parts used, and resolution plans.
  • Communicate daily with area service managers to develop schedules and itineraries that meet customer needs.
  • Travel extensively within the U.S. (90-100%) Monday through Friday.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of field or plant equipment maintenance experience.
  • Corrugated industry experience a plus.
  • Mechanical understanding of strapping machines, preferably with Mosca expertise.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • Solid mechanical and electrical background.
  • PLC experience a plus.
