  • Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and patient satisfaction.
  • Perform daily cleaning of patient rooms to maintain a sanitary environment.
  • Prepare units for patient discharge and ensure thorough cleaning of surgical areas at the end of the day.
  • Maintain cleanliness in common areas, including floors, offices, and public spaces, while managing waste disposal effectively.
  • Respond promptly to spills and accidents to mitigate safety risks.
  • Complete special assignments as directed and report progress to supervisors to meet departmental standards.
  • Understand and comply with safety protocols regarding medications and medical supplies.
  • Restock necessary supplies during cleaning tasks to ensure availability for patient care.
  • Utilize cleaning supplies and equipment efficiently to support cost management and safety.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Minimum age of 16 years.

Preferred Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior experience in a similar role is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Ability to lift and transport moderate to heavy items.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational capabilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Capacity to thrive in a dynamic work environment.
  • Basic understanding of safety and sanitation standards.
