About the Role

Tutor Me Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Tutor to provide one-on-one in-home tutoring to students with special education needs in Hemet, CA.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct personalized tutoring sessions with students, adapting instructional methods to meet their unique learning styles and requirements.
  • Develop and implement customized lesson plans, incorporating the latest trends and best practices in special education.
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and special education teams to ensure a cohesive and supportive educational experience.
  • Maintain open communication with parents or guardians, discussing student progress and addressing any concerns.
  • Foster a safe and inclusive learning environment that promotes the emotional and behavioral development of students.
Requirements
  • Previous experience with special education, accommodations, and working with students with learning disabilities is highly preferred.
  • Able to commute to/from Hemet, CA.
  • At least a Bachelor's degree.
  • Ability to make learning fun and interactive, with a focus on student questions and comments.
  • Ability to pass a background check if required.
