As the Chief Electrophysiology Officer, you will collaborate closely with the Chief of Cardiology to shape the strategic vision of the Electrophysiology Program.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the electrophysiology program, ensuring excellence in diagnostic testing and therapeutic interventions for patients with cardiac arrhythmias.
- Provide expert consultation and work alongside multidisciplinary teams to create tailored treatment plans for each patient.
- Mentor and nurture the professional growth of medical staff, young faculty, fellows, and residents in the field of electrophysiology.
- Engage in research and academic initiatives aimed at propelling advancements in electrophysiology.
- Promote a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the organization.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
- An MD degree or equivalent from an accredited medical institution, with a minimum of three years of fellowship training in pediatric cardiology and an additional year in a dedicated pediatric electrophysiology fellowship.
- An unrestricted medical license and board certification in pediatric cardiology.
- Certification as a Certified Electrophysiology Specialist-Pediatric.
- Experience at the associate or full professor level, with specialized expertise in both non-invasive and invasive management of cardiac arrhythmias.
- A strong interest in emerging technologies and innovative approaches in the field.
