Providence College seeks to fill two tenure-track faculty positions in the Department of Health Sciences within the School of Nursing and Health Sciences. The successful candidates will teach undergraduate courses, develop curriculum, and participate in scholarly pursuits.
Key Responsibilities- Teach undergraduate courses in health sciences, including Anatomy & Physiology, Biology of Health and Disease, Epidemiology, and Microbiology for the Health Professions.
- Develop and implement curriculum, including team-taught senior seminars and capstone projects.
- Contribute to the department's scholarly agenda and participate in professional service.
- Maintain an active research agenda and publish scholarly work.
Candidates must have an earned doctorate in health sciences, biological sciences, public health, or a closely related field. A strong commitment to teaching, research, and service is essential.
Preferred QualificationsCandidates with experience in teaching, research, and clinical practice in the health sciences are preferred. A strong preference is given to candidates who demonstrate a deep commitment to supporting the success of students from historically marginalized groups.
