Key Responsibilities- Safety Culture and Compliance: Lead and maintain a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Team Management: Manage a team of 15 maintenance leads, technicians, and support team members across 3 shifts.
- Training and Development: Provide training and technical support in repair and troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical/electronic equipment.
- Preventive Maintenance: Develop, train, audit, and assist with preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) programs.
- Inventory Management: Manage planning, scheduling, tool, supplies, and MRO parts inventory with the storeroom and tool room manager using TabWare or equivalent software.
- Facilities Maintenance: Manage maintenance of ground and housekeeping in the facility, including internal grounds and housekeeper resources.
- Productivity Improvement: Lead department productivity improvement, MRO and energy cost reduction, while improving downtime and equipment life.
- Support to Production: Support Production in Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) of safety and quality issues.
- Lean Initiatives: Participate in Lean Kaizen events as part of plant continuous improvement efforts.
- Capital Projects: Support capital engineering projects, including equipment, facilities, and infrastructure due diligence and implementation.
- OSHA Experience: Experience working within OSHA safety guidelines.
- Industrial Maintenance Experience: 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
- Leadership Experience: 10+ years of supervision/leadership experience.
- Troubleshooting Skills: Strong electrical, PLC/CNC troubleshooting capabilities.
- Mechanical Aptitude: Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Project Development: Experience with project development and machine moving.
- Computer Skills: Advanced computer skills, including working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office.
- Language Skills: Ability to read, write, and speak in Spanish is a plus.
