Job Overview:
The City of Salt Lake City is looking for committed professionals to fill the role of Medical Response Paramedics.

Role Summary:
As a Medical Response Paramedic, you will play a vital role in delivering essential medical assistance and transportation for individuals in critical situations. You will be part of a dynamic team, collaborating closely with the Medical Division personnel and reporting to the designated Fire Department Officer.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Respond promptly to medical emergencies, providing both basic and advanced life support.
  • Engage effectively with the Medical Response Team.
  • Work at designated fire stations as assigned.
  • Maintain a standard work schedule of 40 hours per week.
Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Possess a valid driver's license.
  • Completion of accredited paramedic training and NREMT certification.
  • Successful passing of a physical ability assessment.
Selection Process:
  • Written examination via NTN FireTEAM.
  • Oral Board Assessment.
  • Technical skills evaluation.
  • Review of submitted resume.
