Primary Care Physician

We are seeking board certified/board eligible family medicine or internal medicine physicians to join our team at AdventHealth Primary Care Network in the Tampa Bay area. Our network is a primary care group aligned with AdventHealth specialty physicians, utilizing leading technology and compassion to deliver whole-person care.
CompensationThe estimated annual salary for this position is $250,000+, including a guaranteed base salary and production incentives. Additionally, you can expect excellent benefits, including:

Our healthcare benefits start from day one, including medical, vision, and dental coverage for you and your family. You will also receive 26 paid vacation days, 5 CME days, and $5,000 for CME/membership dues.
No state income tax means you get to keep more of your hard-earned money.
About the RoleAs a primary care physician in our network, you will experience a work-life balance schedule with no weekend office hours. Call is very light, with shared call and nurse triage support. You will have the opportunity to see between 18-24 patients per day using the efficiencies of EPIC, electronic medical record. We offer dedicated admin time, flexible scheduling, and a clinic support team that includes a dedicated medical assistant, front office staff, and a practice administrator.
You will be part of a comprehensive team of specialists and ancillary services available to provide full-spectrum care for your patients' needs. With the freedom to practice medicine as it should be, you will have the opportunity to utilize all your clinical skills-preventive care, chronic disease management, acute care, and office-based procedures.
RequirementsTo succeed in this role, you will need:
- Proficiency with minor office-based procedures, including joint injections and minor dermatologic procedures
- Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine (or Board Eligibility within 3 years of completing a US-based residency program)
- An active FL medical license (or ability to secure active, unrestricted licensure)
- An active DEA license (or ability to obtain)
- Experience with or willingness to supervise Advanced Practice Providers (APRN & PA-C)
