The Vascular Imaging Specialist plays a crucial role in the assessment of vascular health through advanced imaging techniques. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of vascular anatomy and related conditions, particularly arterial diseases and venous insufficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gathering patient demographics and medical histories to ensure accurate assessments.
  • Setting up examination areas for ultrasound procedures and assisting in patient positioning on ultrasound equipment.
  • Providing clear explanations of ultrasound processes to patients to ensure comfort and understanding.
  • Utilizing non-invasive ultrasound methods to evaluate venous insufficiency effectively.
  • Adjusting imaging equipment to capture high-resolution ultrasound images for physician interpretation.
  • Reviewing and comparing current ultrasound results with previous studies to aid in diagnostic evaluations.
  • Delivering concise summaries of ultrasound findings to medical professionals promptly.
  • Managing hazardous materials and biological waste in accordance with safety protocols, including the sterilization of tools.
  • Maintaining thorough documentation of procedures and patient records.
  • Staying updated on the latest advancements in vascular imaging technology.

Additional Information:

Willingness to travel between multiple office locations is essential.

This position does not require on-call duties or weekend work.
