Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management: Oversee all aspects of the YMCA, including membership, programs, childcare, and finances.
  • Program Development: Expand current services and develop new program services, ensuring best practices are followed in all areas.
  • Community Engagement: Participate in community events to represent and promote the YMCA.
  • Staff Supervision: Hire, supervise, and direct all employees at the YMCA.
  • Financial Management: Prepare and administer the overall YMCA budget for the fiscal year.
  • Strategic Planning: Provide strategic direction for all programs and coordinators of programs.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in recreation management, early childhood development, or a related field.
  • Certifications: CPR/AED and First Aid certification, and Child Abuse Prevention Training.
