Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at New Jersey Institute for Disabilities (NJID). As a LPN, you will provide high-quality nursing care to individuals with developmental and related disabilities in a residential program setting.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Administer medication and medical treatments as required and complete documentation.
  • Accompany individuals to and from medical appointments and activities as needed.
  • Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
  • Data entry using Therap (EHR).
  • Implement medically prescribed diets and exercise programs.
  • Complete documentation necessary for program operations promptly.
Requirements:
  • A valid NJ State Practical Nurse License.
  • HS diploma or equivalent.
  • A valid driver's license in good standing and must be insurable under NJID's automobile insurance.
  • Experience with g-tube feedings.
  • Experience working with intellectual, developmental, and related disabilities preferred.
