Banquet Chef Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Banquet Chef to join our team at Bass Pro Shops. As a Banquet Chef, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing banquets to the highest standards of quality and service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and implement Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) to ensure seamless execution of events.
  • Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and presentation.
  • Communicate effectively with staff, vendors, and clients to ensure successful events.
  • Manage food costs, inventory, and labor to maintain profitability.
  • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Ensure adequate supplies and equipment are available for events.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in high-volume banquet kitchens.
  • 2+ years of experience as a Sous Chef or Chef de Partie.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and presentation.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
