Banquet Chef Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Banquet Chef to join our team at Bass Pro Shops. As a Banquet Chef, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing banquets to the highest standards of quality and service.
Key Responsibilities:- Review and implement Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) to ensure seamless execution of events.
- Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and presentation.
- Communicate effectively with staff, vendors, and clients to ensure successful events.
- Manage food costs, inventory, and labor to maintain profitability.
- Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Ensure adequate supplies and equipment are available for events.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in high-volume banquet kitchens.
- 2+ years of experience as a Sous Chef or Chef de Partie.
- Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and presentation.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
