Job Summary

Cynet Health is seeking a skilled Psychiatric Nurse Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support in a fast-paced psychiatric setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Intervention: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' mental health needs, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and provide interventions to promote patient stability and well-being.
  • Medication Management: Administer and monitor medications, including psychotropic drugs and other medications, as prescribed by physicians.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive patient care. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers to provide education and support.
  • Emergency Response: Respond to psychiatric emergencies, including rapid tranquilization and seclusion procedures, as needed.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions, treatment plans, and outcomes. Report any concerns or issues to supervisors and other relevant parties.
Requirements
  • Education and Licensure: Current registered nurse licensure in good standing and a minimum of one year recent psychiatric nursing experience.
  • Certifications and Training: Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) and ACLS certifications, as required by facility policies.
