Key Responsibilities- Patient Assessment and Care Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, develop and implement individualized care plans, and coordinate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Medication Administration and Management: Administer prescribed medications, monitor patients' responses, and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Wound Care and Dressing Changes: Clean and dress wounds, apply dressings, and monitor patients' progress.
- Patient Education and Support: Provide patients and their families with education and support to promote healthy behaviors and self-care.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work effectively with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, therapists, and support staff, to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing with a minimum of an Associate Degree in Nursing; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Experience: At least six months to one year of experience as a licensed RN or holder of an active GN permit.
- Licensure and Certification: RN License in the state of employment or compact, Graduate Nurse Permit, and BLS Certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
