We are seeking a Full-Time Workers' Compensation Specialist to support our Benefits department. This position plays a vital role in collaboration with our Human Resources team to oversee the management of workers' compensation claims throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee daily management of workers' compensation (WC) claims and auto liability claims
- Facilitate initial incident reporting and maintain documentation
- Serve as the primary contact for employee inquiries regarding claims
- Provide administrative updates to ensure timely resolution of claims
- Lead investigations into WC claims and propose solutions for swift resolution
- Conduct quarterly reviews of claims and keep management informed
- Supervise the Return-to-Work/light duty program
- Drive initiatives for effective management of workers' compensation and employee care
- Administer occupational health programs related to WC claims
- Manage WC hours and payouts
- Ensure achievement of project and departmental objectives
- Collaborate with staff during inspections and investigations
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- Bachelor's degree
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong time management capabilities
