Primary Care Physician - Medical Director Opportunity
About the Role:We are seeking a board-certified Family or Internal Medicine Physician to join our team in providing high-quality primary care in an office-based setting.
Responsibilities:- Examine patients, obtain medical histories, and treat acute and chronic illnesses.
- Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests.
- Create treatment plans, involving patients and family members in those plans.
- Initiate appropriate specialty referrals.
- Collaborate on improving care delivery and service with management, other physicians, and staff.
- Work with the care team to close care gaps and improve quality measures.
- Participate in Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) and Accountable Care Organization (ACO) initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with billing and coding requirements.
- Provide on-call coverage within the primary care group.
- Graduation from an accredited medical school (MD or DO).
- Completion of an accredited Family Medicine residency program.
- Valid DEA registration and Controlled Substance Certificate.
Competitive salary: $250,000 - $300,000 per year, based on productivity and quality measures. Additionally, bonus awards will be shared according to participation in quality or utilization programs from various insurers.
Generous paid time off includes vacation, holidays, sick time, and Continuing Medical Education (CME). Benefits include medical, vision, dental (including orthodontia), 401(k) with employer match, and CME allowance.
The organization is H-1B Cap Exempt and willing to sponsor Green Card applications.
