Mammography Interventional Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mammography Interventional Technologist to join our team at Wellstar Paulding Hospital. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of technical procedures, including mammography and interventional procedures, to provide high-quality diagnostic images for our patients.

• Perform mammography and interventional procedures, including stereotactic breast biopsies, to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
• Position patients for procedures, ensuring accurate and safe imaging.
• Operate and maintain radiographic equipment, including mammography and interventional units, to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis and treatment of patients.
• Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures and imaging results.

• Graduate of an AMA-approved school of radiologic technology.
• Current certification in mammography and radiography from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a mammography technologist, with preference given to those with experience in stereotactic breast biopsies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.

This is a full-time position, working Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Evening shift differentials are available. The successful candidate will be required to work independently and as part of a team, with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
