Role Summary

The CT Technologist will be responsible for conducting computed tomography scans on patients, ensuring adherence to established protocols and safety measures. This role involves working on a flexible schedule, including both afternoon and night shifts, with options for 12-hour or 8-hour shifts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform CT Scans: Execute CT imaging procedures on patients, utilizing specialized machinery while following safety guidelines.
  • Patient Preparation: Prepare patients for imaging, explaining the procedures and ensuring their comfort throughout the process.
  • Image Quality Assurance: Produce high-quality diagnostic images, maintaining attention to detail and following imaging protocols.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to radiation safety standards to maintain a secure environment for both patients and staff.
  • Record Maintenance: Keep accurate patient records, including imaging data, and ensure timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) system.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist in a clinical setting.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.
  • ARRT certification in CT.
  • State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
