Lead Medication Technician Opportunity

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Lead Medication Technician to join our team at Town Village Sterling Heights. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for leading and supporting a team of medication technicians, ensuring the accurate administration of medications, and providing exceptional care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a Team: Guide and support a team of medication technicians, providing guidance and direction as needed.
  • Cover Call-Offs: Be the reliable go-to person when unexpected absences occur, ensuring continuity of care.
  • Manage Schedules: Organize and manage medication schedules, ensuring timely and accurate administration.
  • Provide Care and Administer Medications: Deliver top-notch care and ensure medication is administered accurately and safely.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Experience:

  • Must maintain certification in the state where you work if required.
  • Satisfactory completion of state-required education/certificates/testing in relation to medication aides as well as the company medication aide skills competency checklist.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak in English.
  • Be in good physical health and free of communicable diseases; Lifting, bending, and pushing medication cart about residence is required; Must be able to lift 40 pounds.
  • Completion of drug testing and criminal background check upon hire and upon request of supervisor.
  • Experience in Assisted Living preferred.
