Job Overview

The Pangborn Corporation is a leading manufacturer of equipment and services. As a Field Service Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our products.

About the Role

This position requires extensive travel throughout North America, with occasional international assignments. You will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining our equipment at customer sites, as well as providing training to customers and internal staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Travel to customer sites to perform installations, repairs, and maintenance work
  • Conduct training sessions for customers and internal staff on equipment operation and maintenance
  • Develop and maintain technical knowledge of our products and services
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve customer issues and improve product performance
  • Prepare and submit expense reports and service records

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of experience in a related field, such as manufacturing or field service
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Ability to read blueprints and drawings
  • A valid driver's license and ability to travel overnight
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with OSHA regulations and workplace safety
