Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Class A Truck Driver to join our team at Oak Harbor Freight Lines. As a local truck driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods between terminals or meet points.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate tractor trailer combinations in a safe and efficient manner
  • Adapt to challenging conditions such as inclement weather and various road conditions
  • Meet the Company's reliability standard for employees
  • Chain as needed and work in inclement weather
  • Availability to work weekends and/or nights if needed
Requirements
  • At least 21 years old
  • Class A CDL with Hazmat, Tanker, and Double/Triples endorsements
  • At least one year of verifiable commercial driving experience with similar equipment
  • Doubles/triples & chaining experience is preferred but not required
  • Valid DOT Medical Certification
  • Clean driving record with no DUI, reckless driving, or positive drug/alcohol screen in the last 3 years
  • Ability to effectively communicate with customers, co-workers, and dispatch/managers
  • Basic English proficiency in reading, writing and verbal communication
