Job Summary

We're offering an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to lead problem-solving activities, perform process validations, and monitor quality processes. If you have experience in quality management systems and excellent communication skills, this role is perfect for you.

Responsibilities
  • Lead problem-solving activities for product and manufacturing processes with support from Quality Engineers.
  • Perform in-process inspections, monitor, and analyze manufacturing process quality.
  • Provide data collection, analysis, product review, and process capabilities support to design, manufacturing, and quality engineering functions.
  • Develop processes compliant with Quality Management Systems (QMS) objectives and train personnel accordingly.
  • Conduct internal ISO standard audits and provide audit support as needed.
  • Create formal documented First Article Inspection (FAI) reports suitable for customer or internal use.
  • Determine and utilize appropriate measuring tools and equipment to verify dimensional and functional requirements.
  • Effectively communicate with various departments, including Operations, Supply, Manufacturing Engineering, Design, Quality, Customer Service, Production Planning, Logistics, etc.
  • Support calibration status maintenance of inspection, test, and measurement equipment.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in quality/manufacturing.
  • Ability to use measurement tools and techniques.
  • Experience with QMS preferred.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and task prioritization ability.
  • Interpret order requirements, quotes, drawings, and draw conclusions.
  • Proficient in using precision measuring equipment.
  • Skill in identifying root causes of routine problems/issues and developing recommendations for resolution.
  • Able to interpret and apply QMS/ISO procedures and documentation.
  • Comfortable using computer systems, including MS Office Applications and ERP System (JD Edwards).
Compensation

$26.00 - $27.50 per hour. Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits, and a 401K plan.

Work Environment

This position involves working primarily indoors with frequent noise levels above 85 dB and occasional exposure to chemical hazards (solvents).
