Clubhouse Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Clubhouse Assistant to join our team at the Mental Health Association of Columbia-Greene Counties, Inc. This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary of $18.00-$20.00 per hour, with opportunities for professional growth and development.

The Clubhouse Assistant will provide support to youth and young adults ages 12-21 in their recovery journey, facilitating peer-led support groups and skill-building workshops. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently.

• Engage and supervise youth and young adults in recovery
• Facilitate peer-led support groups and skill-building workshops
• Provide crisis intervention and connect individuals to community resources
• Accurately record services delivered and complete reporting documents
• Attend supervision meetings and complete training requirements
• Maintain confidentiality and model healthy boundaries

• Ability to model abstinence or recovery from substance use
• Knowledge and understanding of substance use and recovery
• Leadership skills and self-motivation
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to navigate Microsoft systems and maintain accurate records
