First Student is seeking a reliable and safety-conscious School Bus Driver to transport students to and from school. As a member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of our passengers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a school bus safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the bus is in good working condition.
- Assist students with boarding and exiting the bus, providing a safe and welcoming environment.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff to ensure a smooth and successful transportation experience.
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license for at least 3 years.
- At least 21 years old.
- Good verbal communication skills.
- Subject to a drug screen and physical.
- Subject to DOT drug testing.
Benefits:
- $160 - $197 per day based on experience and credentials.
- $1,200 Sign on Bonus for non-CDL holders and CDL holders.
- $750 Employee Referral Bonus.
