Job Summary

CHS Inc. is seeking a skilled Agriculture Specialist to join our agronomy team in Lowder, IL. As an Agriculture Specialist, you will build strong on-farm relationships with top brands in agriculture to deliver and apply custom fertility and crop protection solutions across the state of IL.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply fertilizers and crop protection products under general supervision, including the use of high-clearance sprayers or floaters.
  • Work with customers in a courteous and professional manner, educating them on products being applied, techniques utilized, and how to continue supporting them with products and services.
  • Assist the sales staff in ensuring orders are correct and patron needs are met.
  • Perform warehouse work, including driving a loader, forklift, mechanics, and maintenance.
  • Load and unload agricultural inputs from railcars and/or trucks using heavy or light-duty machinery/equipment.
  • Pick up and deliver product to customers as needed.
  • Perform general labor responsibilities promptly and efficiently, including general maintenance, grounds maintenance, equipment inspection and maintenance, and record keeping.
Requirements
  • 1+ years of experience in agriculture production, operations, and/or agriculture application.
  • Must meet minimum age requirement.
