Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Storage Specialist to join our team at Public Storage.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and have a valid driver's license. The Storage Specialist will be responsible for assessing customer storage needs, selling packing and moving supplies, and conducting daily storage unit inspections. They will also be required to audit cash drawers, make bank deposits, and help customers with payment reminders and collections.

The successful candidate will have experience in sales environments, such as retail or restaurant settings. They must be able to lift/move items weighing up to 35 pounds and spend up to 50% of their time outdoors, including climbing stairs and opening large doors.

The estimated salary for this position is $17.00 per hour, paid weekly. Benefits include a Total Rewards package, flexible and full-time schedules, competitive wages, mileage reimbursement, and on-site company housing (performance and tenure required). Our Storage Specialists also have the opportunity to earn performance-based bonuses.
