Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at HexaQuEST Health, Inc. in a late shift position. This role will require working 2pm to 2am, 3 days a week, including weekends as needed.

As a Registered Nurse in our Emergency Department, you will be responsible for assessing patients to determine their mental, physical, and spiritual needs. You will also be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating individual plans of care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess patients to determine mental, physical, and spiritual needs
  • Plan, implement, and evaluate individual plans of care
  • Provide explanations and instructions to patients/responsible persons
  • Demonstrate ability to use nursing clinical judgment to recognize and report changes in patient condition
  • Contribute to a healthy workplace environment by managing conflict using professional communication skills
  • Meet Core Measure responsibilities related to patient care
  • Participate in continuing education
  • Maintain complete and accurate medical records

Requirements:

  • Current Illinois Registered Nurse license
  • Current CPR/BLS Card
  • ACLS certification
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Ability to work 2pm to 2am shifts, 3 days a week, including weekends as needed
