Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team at WinCo Foods. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of store orders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pick orders by selecting items from the warehouse according to a pick list created from store orders, ensuring product integrity, stability, and safety.
  • Operate powered industrial equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Receive and inspect product, verifying accuracy and quality, and documenting discrepancies properly.
  • Account for all product assigned to each load, comparing quantities and quality to load control documents.
  • Meet established company standards on a daily basis, including productivity, safety, and sanitation.
  • Ensure all safety procedures and policies are followed, complying with OSHA standards.

Requirements

  • Ability to work in environments with varying temperatures and humidity levels.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Ability to work various shifts and days in a 24/7 operation, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Demonstrate initiative and self-direction to effectively manage time.
  • Obtain necessary licensing/certification to safely and efficiently operate required equipment.
  • Learn and memorize warehouse physical layout and operating procedures.
  • Quickly and accurately perform basic math functions and visualize quantities in three-dimensional stacked arrangements.
  • Communicate effectively using verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Exhibit manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and depth perception.
  • Perform repetitious work accurately and with mental alertness.
  • Stand, walk, and move rapidly throughout a shift.
  • Bend, stoop, twist, and turn frequently.
  • Reach, lift, stack, and maneuver objects of varying dimensions and weights.

Working Conditions

The Warehouse Associate will work in a fast-paced warehouse environment, with exposure to various temperatures, humidity levels, and physical demands. The ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities is essential.
