About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Geriatric Nursing Assistant to join our team at IntelyCare. As a Geriatric Nursing Assistant, you will provide high-quality care to residents in a variety of post-acute facilities in your area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide empathetic nursing care to residents based on approved nursing care plans
  • Help residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as personal hygiene, feeding, and mobility
  • Observe residents and monitor their conditions during your shift
  • Take, monitor, and report blood pressure, temperature, respiration, and other vital signs
  • Ensure a clean, sanitized, and hygienic environment
  • Communicate with family members and visitors and facilitate communication between healthcare staff and residents
  • Move residents in wheelchairs and assist their movements around a facility
  • Provide companionship and comfort to residents
Requirements
  • Current Maryland Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification and Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) certification
  • Familiarity with nursing care procedures and related terminology
  • Effective organization and communication skills
  • Detail oriented with strong observational skills
