Job Overview:
As an Automotive Repair Technician, you will engage in a variety of skilled mechanical tasks, focusing on the upkeep and restoration of vehicles and associated machinery. Your role will involve identifying intricate maintenance challenges, executing vehicle assessments, conducting road tests, and utilizing specialized tools prevalent in the automotive service sector.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with mechanical and electrical automotive systems.
- Valid state driver's license required for test drives.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Proficient in using hand and power tools for part replacement and repairs.
- Physical endurance and adaptability to various working conditions.
- Install ADA lift systems.
- Diagnose and repair air conditioning systems.
- Service brake and steering mechanisms.
- Identify and rectify electrical and electronic system issues.
- Replace or repair transmissions and fuel systems as necessary.
- Fix cooling systems, including air conditioning and engine cooling components.
- Conduct emissions tests, safety inspections, and other state-mandated vehicle evaluations.
- Ensure a clean and safe working environment.
- Document work performed accurately and legibly.
