Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Delivery Driver with a CDL license to join our operations team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring timely and accurate deliveries to our customers, including grocery stores, liquor stores, hotels, bars, restaurants, and convenience stores.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver products by bottle, case, or pallet from the delivery truck to the customer's account by hand truck.
  • Safely operate a commercial vehicle and conduct pre and post-trip inspections, noting any vehicle defects.
  • Make an average of 20 timely deliveries a day, with the potential to deliver more accounts during high-volume seasons.
  • Verify receipt of correct orders with customers, obtain signatures, and collect payment if necessary.
  • Ensure the physical security of the truck at all times.
  • Provide regular feedback to management regarding route changes, concerns, or areas of opportunity.
  • Abide by DOT hours of service rules and regulations for their license type.
  • May utilize a smartphone for interaction with hours of service (HOS) software, point of delivery (POD) invoicing, and/or driver monitoring programs.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred, with two years of delivery experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 100 pounds.
  • Requires a current Class B CDL driver's license (Class A CDL license also allowed and may be required for positions based on location).
  • Ability to obtain valid DOT medical certification card and file appropriately with the state Motor Vehicle Department.
  • Alcohol Beverage Commission (ABC) License, as required by the state.
