About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Emergency Department at Southern Regional Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the delivery of high-quality services.

Responsibilities
  • Provide Direct Patient Care: Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, ensuring the delivery of safe and effective services.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Team: Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Develop and Implement Care Plans: Create and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs and goals of each patient.
  • Monitor and Report Patient Status: Continuously monitor patient condition and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
  • Provide Education and Support: Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment options, and self-care techniques, promoting empowerment and independence.
Requirements
  • Current RN License: Possess a current and valid state RN license.
  • Certifications and Training: Hold current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS, as well as basic arrhythmia interpretation.
  • Experience and Education: Possess a minimum of one year of experience as a staff nurse RN in an acute care hospital setting, with a preference for experience in the Emergency Department.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree and be certified as an Emergency Nurse (CEN).
