Position Summary
The production associate operates machinery to facilitate the manufacturing, packaging, and various processes along the production line.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute a range of tasks related to product manufacturing.
- Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Package, organize, and verify products according to specifications.
- Assist in detecting foreign materials as necessary.
- Inform the supervisor or line leader of any discrepancies.
- Adhere to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety protocols.
- Report any mechanical or material concerns to the Supervisor.
- Rotate through different roles as required.
- Adapt to non-climate-controlled conditions, including extreme temperatures.
- Work in various production areas as dictated by operational needs.
- Ensure a safe and tidy workspace.
- Maintain compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and manufacturing standards.
- Experience in meat or food processing is preferred.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Strong communication, mathematical, reading, and writing skills.
- Ability to complete quality and safety training.
- Capable of working in a fast-paced, repetitive environment.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a diverse team.
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as required.
- Quality-focused, safety-conscious, dependable, detail-oriented, and self-driven.
- Prior experience in production, manufacturing, or warehouse settings is advantageous.
